Day 12 Back Into the Bathroom

O.K., I'll admit it. I color my hair every five or six weeks. Each time, I buy the same color/brand of hair color. In it is a tube of conditioner you are to use once a week until the next coloring, when, of course, you get ANOTHER tube of conditioner. Even if I did remember to use their conditioner once a week, I still couldn't use up each tube! It's hard to throw away things you know you do use, but sometimes the sheer amount doesn't allow you to finish products. One time, I found five tubes one time in my toiletry stash! With a new one coming almost monthly, mathematically, I just can't use it all. Today, I found two extra ones. I'm throwing them out, because next week is coloring time again.

  1. I know it would simplify my life to go gray...but I'm not ready for that!

  2. Not a lot today but worthy of posting anyway.....3 empty pill bottles I found on Joshua's computer desk (???) into the trash. Give away box: 3 jar candles I bought intending for them to be used as presents....years ago they would have made nice presents but not now; 2 mugs my husband bought me for this past Christmas - pleased that I can realize this early that I do not need these cluttering up my house!!! Once again, Sorry Carl (I told you I didn't want anything for Christmas!!)

  3. Worked on one shelf today. 5 items into the yard sale bag; threw away a box of old sidewalk chalk, a whole bunch of dried up glue and paints, and yucky paintbrushes. Reorganized stickers, craft supplies, and stationary with my daughter. 3 shelves done - 2 to go! :)
*Simplify - there are a few things in life worth the aggravation and clutter build-up!! :)

  4. Threw away some old lotions that still smelled good, but I knew I'd never use. I could probably cut my remaining supply in half and still have silky smooth skin!
