Day 77: Trudging Through

The daylight is longer now, but the to-do list seems to be multiplying, filling up those hours! It's at times like these we need to keep it up and simplify, at least one per day. I know there will be days ahead we can rip through a room and unload a lot of stuff. Until then, one thing is sufficient to keep us on track.

One book is being put in the give away box.

  1. yes! life is getting so busy now and i am very glad for the one per day. today i was able to finish cleaning off that last shelf of my 5-shelf bookcase. i started that ages ago! But, in the process, i didn't not find anything to throw away or give away. i cleaned out a knitting box, though, and found a pin i made out of buttons...just a little crafty thing i did. anyway - i'm over the button pin and it went in the trash. :)

  2. I am having a good week! Today I went through the entertainment center and found approx. 15 more CD's, one board game, a candle holder, some Fall paper placemats I'll never use, and a couple of paper tablecloths all for the give away box, a small box of 1/2 used crayons/pencils w/o erasers/pens gone dry, trinkets.....those all went in the trash...got my E Center shelves all cleared so I could put all the board games there, now behind closed doors. Wow! Does that feel good!! I believe I can now say the first level of my home has been "gone through" and purged of most everything I do not need.....except for next week's project - my butler's pantry....way too much stuff in there to even think about as I trudge off to work this weekend. Wait for the details next week!!
