Day 64: Video Cassettes

Having moved from VHS to DVD and now entering the realm of Blue-Ray, our VHS tapes' days our numbered. I put a boxed Star Wars VHS set into the Goodwill box today, as long ago my technological family members felt they needed a set in DVD. No need to have both!

  1. Got rid of about 50 videos last weekend for the same reason. Feels good to get rid of that clutter. I am getting rid of a big box of paperbacks today. I am sorry that I am signed in as different people. Every time I try to get on to give a comment it doesn't let me so I may be Susan or Susan in Fredericksburg. They are one and the same person.

  2. Although there is a Susan, and it signed me in as Susan , I am supposed to be Susan S or Susan in Fredericksburg. I can't figure out how to make my comments work correctly. sorry.

  3. I'm sorry about my typo, everyone. My "writing for teachers" professor from college would scorn my terrible editing.

Books take up a lot of space and you can get them all at the library then return them!! Good job, Susan. You getting rid of your VHS tapes gave me the idea. Thanks!

  4. 4 books in give-away box. 1 storage container trashed. Still working on the basement where I ran into my beading bag. Several years ago I spent lots of time making bracelets for myself and as gifts. I've been thinking I'm ready to sell the whole lot of it on ebay. I've spent a couple nights sorting through all the beads. I was able to throw away about 8 bead containers. I found one Christmas bracelet ready to be finished. I think I'll finish that one and maybe restring a couple of my earlier creations and then sell the lot. I definitely have some nice beads left. It was an enjoyable hobby, but I haven't made a bracelet in at least two-plus years! And, I'm not feeling a strong urge to make any more. If someday I have the urge again - I'll start over then! :)
