Day 65: Make A Mess to Clean A Mess

"You have to make a mess to clean a mess." This old saying is very true in my experience. Pulling everything out of a space and seeing how much better it looks without clutter helps you sort and only put back necessary items. If the rest don't have a place to go, it may be time to GA, TA, or S. (Give away, throw away, or sell). I plan to do that today in the closet I've been tackling the past two weeks.

  1. I made some big messes today in the basement! But, much nearer to the initial basement goal.

I threw away knee & elbow pads, a soccer ball, a snorkel and mask, a coat, and a dvd player for the car that no longer worked. I put 2 pair of socks, sunglasses, 2 books, and a little plastic frog into the give-away box. And finally, I brought 3 kid tennis rackets, a bike helmet, a soccer ball, a football, 3 water guns, 4 nerf footballs, a sand toy, a flying soccer saucer, a purple ball, a soccer chair, and a metal plate rack to Good Will!!

I rocked the basement today! :)

One of my daughters said that when you look at this list you would think I have 3 boys and not 3 girls!! :)
