Many of you have commented that you have rid yourselves of excess, unused makeup, lotions, sample shampoos, etc. If you have time in the next few days, take a critical eye into the bathroom cupboards, under the sink, medicine cabinet, and find old, unused items that can go. You will be surprised at how much has accumulated in the back of those places.
An old, now unused electric toothbrush and some mostly gone lotion bottles went out into the trash for me today.
I am happy to report that I organized the cupboard below the bathroom sink over a year ago and it has stayed organized! I did the same for the bathroom closet - but it is not so organized anymore. Unfortunately, I have more pressing areas at this moment, but maybe sometime this year I'll get to that closet!
ReplyDeleteWe're back home with power and today I put 3 more items of clothing in the overflowing give-away box. I plan on getting to Goodwill this week, however! Once I can get my van out of our 600+ foot snow/ice covered driveway!!
I worked in the kitchen today and totally cleaned out and organized three full-sized drawers. Most went to the trash because it is itty bitty little junk that just gets tossed into a kitchen utility drawer. Also, may I just say how happy I am that I participated in the "gadget" challenge a few days ago. I have done so much cooking and baking while snowed it. I have been able to reach in the drawer and find exactly what I need...not 12 of them, not 3 of them, just 1 of them and I can put my hands right on it. Yeah! ...and because there is only one, I have to wash it immediately so it is ready if I need it again. Simplify! Simplify! I'm loving this! PS - Bathroom storage was one of the first places I attacked! :o)
ReplyDelete3 dresses and 1 3-piece suit in give-away box. 1 dress in trash (ripped).
ReplyDeleteYou ladies are an inspiration! Great progress!
