Day 268: Travel Ease

If your family takes off for a weekend periodically, I've found a way to simplify packing. I keep a toiletry travel bag already packed with contact solution, toothpaste, a toothbrush, nail clippers, shampoo, razor, night cream, q-tips, deodorant, emery board, etc. When we're packing, all I have to throw in is my brush, glasses, and contact case. It truly simplifies that packing procedure and keeps everything in one spot so I can be organized and grab & go!

  1. I also keep a small toiletry kit packed with travel size items. I rarely even have to buy the small items. My dentist always sends me home with a new toothbrush, small tube of toothpaste, and a tiny dispenser of floss. When I go to hotels, I take with me the small shampoo and conditioner bottles to use for future trips. In the name of simplifying, however, I have stopped taking the bottles of lotion which used to clutter my bathroom! Having a small toiletry kit packed with small items also makes going through security easier on airline flights.
